In 2008, a market research clarified the need in finding an alternative solution to the traditional tetra panel antenna. The Market required the design of a smaller solution, whilst preserving the same performance of bigger antennas presently on the market. We have proposed to the Market an innovative smart solution: TETRACUBE xpol antenna. Tetracube has more advantages Vs. the traditional panel antenna. With a smaller dimension but adding more modules, the radio planning team can create a tailor-made antenna, adjusting performance as gain and opening angle site by site. Using Tetracube instead of traditional panel antenna, the Client reduces the cost of tetra network. Infact using TETRACUBE, the Client can avoid to install antennas with performances that overcomes the real needs. Moreover, installing Tetracube the visual impact and wind resistance is lower than the traditional panel antenna. SNCF

For their migration to GSM-R network, SNCF didn't accept the traditional antenna available on the market. No antenna was tested at 24KV/40KA as SNCF’ specification. SNCF wanted an antenna that would secure protection against any possible contact with train catenaries electrical power tested at 24KV/40KA. SNCF asked us to study an antenna's portfolio for their GSM-R project. After some months study, we created a safety and security system inside small multiband antennas. This assured full protection to cab-radio and workers from 25Kv/40KA electrical discharges. Our antennas successfully passed very strictly given tests.  We then patented this system and now our antennas are used by many other  European Railway Companies. For the migration to tetra network of INTERFORZE (Polizia / Guardia di Finanza / Corpo Forestale / Polizia Penitenziaria), RAC has become a qualified partner for antenna kits to be installed on all vehicles. RAC has created different kits for multiband antennas with vhf/tetra frequency including also gps. Thanks to a good relationship with the Motorola dealers, when Motorola introduced the MotoTRBO radio, RAC created a covert multiband antenna, on VHF / UHF frequency + GPS. We produce the GT FLEX antenna: low price, excellent performances, thanks also to a special low loss cable. When SAGEM won the tender for TRENITALIA's gsm-r car kits, they needed a custom solution for homologated DC grounded antennas. We modified our standard patented antenna and offered them the mounting flange "FEDERTRASPORTI 00104/5". Our solution permitted to reduce time for installation, using an antenna compliant to UIC 758. We delivered more than 8000 gsm-r antennas to SAGEM within six months. After this contract, many other system integrators are using our antenna for TRENITALIA's projects.
